In the late 1980’s the Duchy of Cornwall set out to improve the quality and type of the Dartmoor Pony by demonstrating good selection and management. Together with the Dartmoor Pony Society and the Dartmoor National Park Authority, it created the Dartmoor Pony Moorland Scheme
Champion at Widecombe Fair with Thunder Bay!
Shilstone Rocks Thunder Bay (as in Thunder the Foal in the Rainbow series!) won three cups at Widecombe Fair! All the photographs were taken thanks to my editor and friend Jonathan Constant.
