Pony Walks on Dartmoor
I am a Dartmoor and international photographer, author, adventurer and public speaker. My love of Dartmoor ponies began when I was born on my mother’s well-known Shilstone Rocks Dartmoor pony stud near Widecombe-in-the-Moor. As a young child, riding Dartmoor ponies, I dreamt of a life of cowboys and Indians in the Wild West of America, and several decades later my dream came true when I rode horses from Mexico to Canada. My adventurous travels have also taken me on horseback across Southern Europe, New Zealand, Ireland and Israel.
I have published books about each of my adventures, and also eighteen early learning children's books about Rainbow the Dartmoor pony, and Rainbow and her farmyard friends. and others. Rainbow is one of the Dartmoor ponies I have bred who will join us on our walks.
