At Widecombe Fair I won the cup for the most points showing ponies!
Here is my stand outside the Old Post Office behind Uncle Tom Cobley! it was good to meet new people and reconnect with friends from far and wide. One on my regular customers came from Canada.
Heather, gorse and ponies on Dartmoor!
My friends from France out riding Callum and Rainbow yesterday on Dartmoor, which was looking stunning covered in gorse and heather. Rainbow my Dartmoor Pony who is in training is enjoying rides out with Callum my Highland pony, who I rode from Scotland to Lands End and around Southern Ireland.
"Rainbow the Pony" is now being ridden!
Rainbow the Dartmoor Pony has two books to her name! Her first book 'Rainbow the Pony' is her adventure as a pretty foal and her second 'A Day on Dartmoor with Rainbow the Pony' is about her adventures on Dartmoor.
My black boys ... winners at the Dartmoor Pony Show!
I was thrilled that both my two year old colt won the 2 & 3 year old colt class and my Music Man came first 2year old gelding at the Dartmoor Pony Show at Whiddon Down.
Thatching an old Dartmoor Longhouse
High altitude work in the unusual blazing summer heat of Dartmoor! These men were clearly at ease thatching this beautiful old Dartmoor Longhouse! This lovely thatch I was told "should last for thirty years."
