I had a two day adventure photographing in the snow, when I was out at dawn until sunset, so I thought as you probably can't come to Dartmoor – I would bring Dartmoor to you!

The early sunlight on the frosted snow on Dartmoor was a beautiful start to the New Year as I walked up onto Hameldown, from the village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor and across the moor with a bucket of feed for Callum my Highland pony, and hay for my ponies as the roads were too icy to travel.
